Solidarity among Brothers
We are currently requesting and receiving donations to send essential products to Cuba. Humanitarian aid will be received and distributed directly by churches and members of independent civil society on the Island.
The Fundación para la Democracia Panamericana in collaboration with the City of Miami are pleased to announce the initiative "Solidaridad entre Hermanos,” meaning Solidarity among Brothers, to send and distribute humanitarian aid directly on the Island.
Cuba is experiencing a serious crisis that is only being aggravated by the COVID19 pandemic. The lives and safety of many Cuban families are in danger due to the shortages and the lack of sanitary conditions in public places, including hospitals and detention centers. The crisis tends to worsen in the face of negligent response from the dictatorship. As part of the Cuban nation we take responsibility to help.
